TEXT PRELUAT BMW will be adding its twin-turbo 3.0L diesel engine to both the 6-series coupe and convertible, with the new car set to wear 635d badges. The output of the 286hp six-cylinder motor will enable the big coupe to reach 100km/h from rest in around 6 seconds, all the way to an electronically controlled speed limit of 250km/h. The rationale behind the 635d is a strange one. Why would buyers after luxurious sporting coupes go for an economic diesel motor? Further, the release of the new diesel 6 will coincide with the launch of a new 163hp diesel version of the 3-series convertible, being offered initially in 320cd guise. BMW’s 3.0L diesel is one of the best engines of its kind in the world, but many purists agree that a diesel engine does not belong in a coupe. sincer eu nu as fii pus acest motor pe masina asta, arata mult prea bine pt un motor diesel, parerea mea, dar vor avea vanzari foarte mari zic eu mai ales in romania :)

Sincer nici eu nu as pune un motor ca asta pe 6 oricat de ispititor ar fi. Un coupe vertiabil cu sunet de diesel parca nu se pupa de nici o culoare....DAR ce e drept performantele acestui motor sunt incredibile si potentialul de tuning foarte mare. Adica cum poti trece cu vederea o putere litrica chiar mai mare decat cea a noului motor V12 TDI de la audi?! Deasemenea un cuplu de 580NM de la 1700RPM este o adevarata vraja. Plus ca el poate duce aproape de cifrele lui 650i dar cu un cuplu de 650-700NM cu doar 1500 euro si peste toate iesind mult mai econom e chiar no-brainer.

e pericol mare motorul asta, daca dai in el sarmanul meu x3 isi ia zborul. are totusi ceva de diesel, sunetul si limitarea in ture. nu prea cred ca se pupa cu caroseria de serie 6 dar sunt convins ca va avea piata.

performantele motorului.. sunt in stilul  nu ne mai mira nimic :d dar cu toate astea, nu-mi imaginez 6-le cu sunet de diesel.. parca o strica.. si degeaba e frumoasa, daca e zgomotoasa :) |

l-am vazut acum intr-o revista de specialitate si arata foarte bine asa ca doru in primavara 635d cabrio nu prea cred, le-am vazut pe amblele in curte la bavaria, coupe si cabrio, dar la un cip de cca 85k mai bine iau un porsche sau aston sh. oricum anul care vine nu schimb decat o masina, iau un x3 2.0d 177 hp automatic alb m-pack in loc de 120d in martie aprile cand pot inchide leasingul. |
