se prezinta la milano dupa ce aparitia era incerta. va avea un motor nou, aceeasi putere dar ceva cuplu in plus si doua axe cu came. sa vedem cat va fi de fiabil, deja eu nu eram confortabil cu ajustarea valvelor la fiecare 10,000km dar ma rog, asa sunt boxerele. se pare ca de fapt este motorul de pe hp2.

Considering BMW used to be known almost exclusively for touring motorcycles, its big tourer bike range hasn't had the same attention as that given to the rest of the range recently. But for 2010, the firm's big old Boxer twin tourer, the R1200 RT is getting a bit of R&D loving. It's getting the same new DOHC engine as the R1200 GS, which has been developed from the HP2 Sport's motor. That means 110bhp and more torque than the old single-cam engine.

The RT's got more than just a new engine though. The fairing has been redesigned for more protection, and there's a new load of equipment options, including ESA II electronic suspension adjustment and a new sound system that has a USB/iPod connection in place of the old CD player. Good work.

New, even more dynamic engine with two overhead camshafts per cylinder.
• Maximum torque increased to 120 Nm (88 lb-ft) at 6,000 rpm, maximum
output remaining at 81 kW (110 hp) at 7,750 rpm.

• Increase in maximum engine speed from 8,000 to 8,500 rpm, with an even
broader useful range of engine speed.

• Significantly improved torque, traction, pulling force, and acceleration.

• Even more spontaneous and direct response with optimum dosage of power and significantly improved load change behaviour.

• Torque curve even smoother and more homogeneous.

• Cylinder head covers now with two instead of four fastening bolts and in new, even more dynamic design.

• Electronically controlled exhaust flap for superior and powerful sound.

• ESA II Electronic Suspension Adjustment with damping, spring base and now also spring rate adjustable at the touch of a button.

• BMW Motorrad Integral ABS featured as standard in the partly integrated version.

• Fairing in new design with protection from wind and weather improved once again.

• Re-designed cockpit with visor.

• New control units and hydraulic reservoir.

• Electronically controlled windshield with optimised aeroacoustics and improved transparency.

• New audio system with controllable interface for a USB/MP3 and iPod, operated through the Multi-Controller.

• Adjustable footshift lever.

• Hard-shell cases (each with a capacity of 32 litres) featured as standard, with accurately fitting four-point lock system and cover finished in body colour.

• Tank railing for conveniently fastening accessories.

• New colours for the R 1200 RT: Polar metallic, Ostra Grey metallic matt, Thunder Grey metallic, multi-colour paintwork in conjunction with Thunder Grey metallic base colour.

• Extended range of optional extras and special equipment tailored to the
R 1200 RT.

Foarte frumoase pozele şi motocicleta!  smile

Am o întrebare un pic offtopic referitoare la echipament.

Am văzut că foloseşti echipament din textil.
Mulţi spun că e mult mai bine cu echipament din piele, însă nu ştiu ce să cred.
Echipamentul din textil protejează la fel de bine?

daca te referi la abraziune protejeaza chiar mai bine. la soc ambele au incorporate protectii la coate, soldiri, genunchi, coloana. diferenta intre ele este la cat sunt de comode. in general pielea e mai comoda pentru ca ia forma ta, se lasa, textilul nu. pielea este insa mai grea. un costum bun textil, cum e ala care e in poze, e insa la fel de greu ca unul din piele. e ca discutia benzina vs. diesel, nu s-a transat in favoarea niciunei parti.

ai mai avut RT, care e diferenta reala intre cele doua? l-ai luat de la AB?
nu e mai misto GT-ul?


multumesc. asta trage mai tare si are sunet mai misto. in plus are esa si altele care la primul rt nu erau. gt-ul la drum lung pe sosea e cel mai bun, nu-l bate nimeni si nimic. e si mai lung, pasagerul are mai mult loc si motorul nu are tendinta de a topai pe la denivelari. da e de la ab. rt-ul e mai bun ca all-rounder, te descurci mai bine in oras, pe drum prost...aglomeratie..etc. puterea lipsa se simte in gaz la viteza mare. cu gt-ul nu putem merge decat afara din opras cand si cand. cu rt-ul pot merge oriunde.
